Well, as you say DI, it really does all depend upon what you are looking for. You have kids and that obviously impinges a great deal upon what you are finding in your quality of life. I sometimes wonder what I am searching for but I definitely know that it is not here in France and it is not good weather I am looking for, that is too superficial. I know Ireland, I have visited many times and love it, I love traditional music, and I love fishing, and I love the 'seasons' - which don't exist here in France.

It does sound like you have had a bad time of it, and I am sorry for that. I guess we all have to take chances at some point, you took a chance on Ireland, we took a chance on France and it hasn't worked out for loads of reasons, as Ireland obviously hasn't worked out for you.

What is definite is that we are moving to Ireland, for the fishing, for the music and the craick. If it doesn't work out this time, we are stuffed !
