The day of indulgences is long gone and anyone with intelligence knows that. But what is wrong with people wanting to give thanks to God for their good fortune, and finishing a church that has been built for over a hundred years. Look at the beautiful new spire on Ballyhaunis church, it is a credit to the town and it's people.
I'm fed up listening to whinging do-gooders who do no good.
