"She stepped out of a red Cortina . . ." classic, there's not too many artists out there that compose songs from the soul about the heartland they grew up in, dunno about you but when I hear the Green n Red of Mayo belted out at a football match the hairs stand up on the back of me neck. I would say Damian Dempsey has lyrics equal in soul and wrenched from living in his heartland of Duba-lin city.
