Ah fair enough I suppose. I do know him so I suppose the comment was a bit unfair. BUT...what annoys me is people who give off about no entertainment and nothing to do when there are several good young bands around the town and outside the town who cannot get a gig, not because there's no venue but because those venues cannot attract enough people to justify paying them. A certain Castlebar publican I know has been running live music every weekend at a loss for over a year now and I have never seen Kharn darken his door. Thankfully things are starting to pick up for him now and hopefully he'll finally start to turn a few quid for his effort. I know two other publicans who genuinely tried to have live music at the weekends but had to abandon it because they couldn't pull enough people. Again I never seen said person in either places. Yet I have seen him in the Lounge, where there's a steep enough cover charge for little more than a late bar. So, I'd say put your wad where your mouth is or stop moaning.
