It was the residence of the Garavan family, the front part of the building was a grocery shop and behind it was a bar. The family lived on the left hand side of the building, there were steps going up to the front door. There was also a daughter, Mary who died many years ago. Charlie operated a Supermarket there for a number of years. When it was sold, it became flats, Ken lived there, when they first got married. Eventually it ended up as a pub again The Kingsbridge.
