You pick the stuff you like to listen to from around the world and download it to your MP3 player and listen to that instead - your perfect radio station or music selection. You can even get litle FM tranmitters that will broadcast MP3 files to your wireless (i.e. radio receiver) in the kitchen, bedroom or car for about 10 to 30 euro. Even the much-maligned iTunes will automatically update your podcast playlist once you decide what you like to listen to. Then you listen to it when it suits you - when you want to.
