I was looking up corn on the internet and picked up some unwanted viruses in the form of a anti-virus application that keeps popping up asking you to buy it.
I have deleted all the odd .exe files I found and reset the homepage on the PC
I ran a program called spyhunter to identify registry settings which I deleted and dodgy cookies

Is there any other software I could use to do the same?

Also, there are still references to the dodgy .exe files when I go into the
Sys config, start up tab,
Does anyone know how to delete these?

Anything else I may have missed?
