Having seen a few videos and visited a grow room in the Netherlands I am acquainted with the rudiments of indoor cannabis cultivation. But surely high electricity usage or heat escaping from the attic isint in itself sufficient evidence to get a search warrant for that which should be legal anyway.

I mean No 1 Letsby avenue has a gas cooker, washing line, CFL lighting, Oil heating a rarely watched portable TV, copious amounts of attic insulation and the sole occupant isint home most of the day anyway. No 2 Letsby avenue is an old uninsulated house with Incandescent lightbulbs, electric heaters, electric cooker shower and tumble drier a couple of 50 inch plasma tellies patio heater and even an air conditioner. The large family includes a little old granny who heats her room all the time.

Are the occupants of No 2 likely to have their door kicked in by the druggie squad when their only crime is having more money than sense (Or possibly annoying Minister Gormley) and is the reason its illegal to import Vietnamese because they might get homesick for the sweatshops back home ?
