This is the 210th anniversary of the "Races of Castlebar" and as mentioned elsewhere, a no of exhibitions are taking place locally.However, has anyone taken a look lately at the 1798 monument & grave of John Moore, 1st President of Connaught, in the Mall?
Its a disgrace - maybe someone with a camera might take a few snaps to show how dirty and black it's become.
