Posted by Carnegie on September 07, 2008 at 16:22:40: English is so confusing it really needs to be revamped altogether - we could switch to Esperanto - it might avoid this kind of confusion: "Time flies like an arrow but fruit flies like a banana." What sort of language is it that allows for such confusion in just 11 words? And there are lots more examples. And don't get me started on spelling - how do non English speaking people cope? Enough! or should I say: "Enuf"
