Surprising there has been so little discussion of this on the board.

Considering past two weeks have seen a complete financial meltdown globally, the Irish Governments response to it has been, in my view, really impressive - in reality the State would have have to be the lender of last resort anyway...... the whole issue at stake is that is that the banks are suffering a crisis of confidence (about lending to one another).

It would be interesting to hear people's thoughts..
