A lot of crap that.The town river as we see it now was populated one time by the finest of salmon.The river flowed down castle street and around other sections of the town.The land lord in covey westport was jealous of our fine river,what did he do,brought pike from foreign lands and infected our lovely river.The pike ate all the salmon except for there Heads,Coveys thought this was great craic,so they ended up calling us Fisheads.Would you believe we still love coveys,the landlord was the culpret.
