Maybe they are not a protected species where he lives.They are not where I live and yes I have eaten Louisiana écrevisses,crayfish,crawfish or crawdads as they are also known.They taste like shrimp or lobster but you have to eat an awful lot to feel full.They are very small.Or should I say the amount of meat from each one is small.This photo was taken at a Louisiana couple's home in Dallas.Crayfish were brought in from Louisiana and steamed with spices by her brother. |
