Reporting on the decline of the Consumers Association of Ireland, the Irish Times mentions Castlebar's Cllr Michael Kilcoyne, vice chairman of the CAI and the expenses and fees he has accumulated as a member of the board of Bord Bia.
“Vice-chairman Michael Kilcoyne, a trade union official from Co Mayo, was paid EUR14,000 in fees and almost EUR7,000 in expenses by Bord Bia over a one year period, according to information obtained under Freedom of Information legislation.
