The standard of our living compared to developing nations has been for historical reasons and not because of our natural resources or abilities. This inbalance is being addressed and the sooner we accept this the less the damage that will be done. There will be no "pick-up" in 2015. We need to re-accesses our economic position in the world and take action to limit how far we fall, which will be alot further than now, either way.
