Posted by jj on April 06, 2009 at 12:31:41: Perhaps there should have been an option - society - The economic downturn, worldwide, originates from excessive credit, where people bought what they wanted, but could not afford. Ireland was no different. Too easy to blame the banks and builders as they responded to demand. The blame lies with society who got used to instant gratification and did not want to wait for anything.
