Of course the Budget is a pain, but having watched Joan Burton speak this evening - what on earth has this country got to offer in terms of opposition.
The most disastrous speech of all time which quoted correspondences from the broad sheets as if these were the people to sort the country out, (did not have any reference to what was outlined in the budget speech to which she was to comment on).
In addition her ramblings made no reference to the cuts / levies save for a “Colm & Lorraine” who would be worse off!
It was embarrassing and made one think, could you imagine this person as Finance Minister for the Country speaking in from of her peers in Europe / the World / Investors. God help us is a coalition is formed and she gets the nod for the Finance position.
