The comments supporting the aboliton of the old age pension at Christmas were depressing. It was OAPs who helped fund education with our PAYE payments in the 1980s. As regards the Labour Party I did not see Joan Burton's speech. I seem to recall,however, that unlike some Fianna Fail deputies no member of the Labour Party went to jail for corruption.
