What makes even less sense is the fact that the top (in pay terms) five presenters in RTE are all on more money than Brian Cowen.

Now whatever ones thoughts on the size of Mr Cowens salary and whether his performance in office justifies it I think most people will accept that the guy has a far more responsible job and works (or should be working) far longer hours than the likes of Kenny, Ryan, Tubridy et al ?
