Listening to Pascal Mooney on Newstalk this morning and Micheal Martin on RTE yesterday, it is embarrassing how out of touch they are with the man on the street. Martin said that people were not giving out to him on the door-step and went as far as to say the people were congratulating him on taking the tough steps to get economy back on track!!! What planet is he on?? He also said no-one saw this coming and its the fault of the world economy????? In 2006 George Lee, David McWilliams and other economists were screaming at FF but were accused of "talking down the economy"??? Oh my, I am so looking forward to the FF Referendum on June 5th. Lambs and slaughter are 2 words that spring to mind.
