"I have seen a couple of not so pleasant incidents in castlebar in the past couple of days involving members of the travelling community in a certain housing estate.." so why did you not report it to the proper lawfull authorities? or make your concerns known to the "travelling community"?? or talk to the local council?? no all to much trouble for you, i can tell you as i am not a moderator nor have any desire to be, that integration is going fine and well in Castlebar thank you, those of us like myself who work in the field of integrating all Ethnic communities are more than happy at the fantastic welcoming attitude of the people of Mayo, and Castlebar in general for helping people including travellers settle although their only part of my remit. There are those people few in number who have nothing but hatred in their hearts, no one is perfect, there are troublesome people in all communities and in all estates and there not all "travellers" either tolerance is what is called for, not debates on integration, integration is going to take place whither you like it or not, it ill be backed by the fairminded majority. If there are incidents on certain eastes ( you did not mention them though) its not up to do to start a witch hunt or aportion blame, take your "incidents" and your "concerns" tto the lawfull authorities
