It’ll be interesting to see if there is a public apology by Mid West Radio & others to Mayo Mental Health about the news report of the missing ‘patient’.
The ‘patient’ in question was an adult discharged from the Main Hospital itself and because a relative couldn’t locate him, a report went out about him missing. The patient was found in a local café with his brother-in-law, unaware of the fuss caused.
It had nothing to do with Mayo Mental Health, whatsoever.
