Excellent they may have been (am lucky enough not to have used them in the recent past), but where they providing value for the tax payers.

If you include Galway, that would have been 3 centres in the Connaught region, a region that has rooughly 400k population (versus > 1 million in Dublin). Not sure you can justify it on a cost basis the continuing of 3 centres.
