Wag - I accept your point re: the centre not excellent but not sure how having two makes it any better. In a limited resources environment all I suggest is we spend money on a few centres rather than many.

I have never been against a centre in the North West but I do believe in the concept of fewer, but better centres for care for a specialist complaint like cancer. Now, where we place these was decided on geographical, population and unfortunately political reasons. (but that does not make the concept wrong).

And Huh - I live in the real world. Lack of parking is not a reason to maintain several hospitals.
