With the proposed report by the Commission on Taxation due this week at the
cost of 150K plus,it now seems that the introduction of a Property Tax,and
Water rates will be shelved keeping in mind it was a FF government under
Jack Lynch abolished them in 1977 to get elected,and what a mess that left the Country in during the Eighties.Leaks also suggest our elected reps,will
have to start pay tax on their perks.Why not,what is sauce for the Goose,is
sauce for the Gander.Introduction off a Carbon Tax to placate the Greens,
and tax on Child benefit.Remember no Country ever 'Taxed'its selve out off
a recession.It's the FF Tunnel Vision again.
