How on earth would they be worse off taking a pay cut than they would be if they were unemployed? so that would mean if they took a pay cut they would be earning less than your average person that is in receipt of 200 euro a week social welfare. That is certainly the most silly statement that i have heard in a long time . you seem like someone running scared, most of these people have had it soft enough in recent years so now its time to carry the cross like the rest of us.
