Mike, if you want to argue for public sector cuts then any chance of doing so without insulting many decent hard working professionals in that sector ? Yes there are those who have taken advantage of any opportunity available to them in the public sector and have had things easy. Are you really going to say that the building trade hasn't had similar characters the last 10 years ?

I do think if you want to take a pop at someone having it easy then someone at the very bottom of the public sector ladder (and by definition a recent employee) who doesn't expect to be there much longer and who hasn't any of the bigger perks of more established employees is not the best target ?
