Have you participated in the building or renovation of any building that was supported by section 23 tax rebates? A direct subsidy from government to purchasers of such buildings and obviously too a subsidy to those paid for building them.

Of course this was all speculative and we are now paying for thousands of buildings built under the section 23 tax reliefs that were not needed and customers could not pay for them either in the end - the banks are now being bailed out by taxpayers but if you as a builder got paid effectively you were paid by the taxpayer - government subsidy.
