While you got money into your hand when working on building sites the taxpayer is now paying these wages because they were effectively paid for using a massive credit card - the NAMA credit card. The inflated wages that ordinary construction workers earned were not based on reality - they broke the country and now we are all paying your wages retrospectively - it's very simple. So please don't blame the public service because they like everyone else still working are now lumped with paying your outlandish wages for the next God knows how many years that it will take to pay off the billions forked out on that big credit card to pay outlandish sums for buildings that nobody wants or ever needed.
