Python - snake - that reminds me of the Fianna Fail politicians that have guided us into the current bust. Too many slippery types and not enough Adders - unable to add up the figures correctly.

Anaconda - Bertie Ahern who liked to wrap himself around you and tell you that everything was going to be fine but in reality you were just dinner.

Cobra - Charlie McCreevy - it's the gleam in his eye as he gambles away - it's his 'snake eyes' you know? Mongoose needed

Rattlesnakes - More noisy than dangerous - a good few come to mind here.... Healy Rays and Rings of the Dail?

Sidewinders - the independent fianna fail types who don't really support the party.
