traffic wardens on sunday!

I couldn't believe me eyes when walking down Linenhall Street I spotted our diligent little traffic warden handing out parking tickets on SUNDAY!!!

I would have thought in these recessionary times the council (whom I presume hires him), would be trying to encourage shoppers into town and not encouraging them to go elsewhere?
