But when you ask us to believe that a majority of over 65-year olds and 18 to 35 year olds agree with your view of the world is that not based on the work of exactly the same polling company?

Are you asking us to have 'the cheek' to believe that what you are telling us is also incorrect?

Red C also polled 1000 people and found that 46% of them attend church once a week compared with 42% in an ERSI poll slightly earlier and gave their statistical error as plus or minus 3.2%. Presumably that's incorrect too? Obviously the error for 300 is going to be higher but the result is very similar nonetheless to the larger 1000 person poll from which you are cherry picking certain bits for us to believe.

Another interesting Red C poll of 1000 randomly selected people in Ireland found that 60% of 18 to 35 year-olds are in favour of abortion.

If you quote statistics from polls by the same company you need to be careful when you denigrate the results from only some of the polls. Picking and choosing even within an individual poll as you have done in this thread has to be subjected to a reality check.
