No, what I am saying is that the generation who appear to be most against the involvement of the Catholic churches involvement in primary education are the generation who suffered most at the hands of a minority of the religious, and their opinions would of course be prejudice.
The older and younger generation have no problems with the Catholic religion involvement in our primary schools and this proves that the middle aged group are indeed polling with preconceived judgment towards the Catholic religious.
The abuse is over in our primary schools so let’s get on with our lives. The abusers are being brought to justice; not everyone suffered at the hands of these people. We know where the problems may arise now; we have all protections in place for our children and it would be very dangerous to start all over again with a new system.
PS Polls have often been proved wrong.
