Being an ex british soldier(32 years service) now living in Ireland and hearing much about the peace park in the county town Castlebar, I since being in town the other day decided to visit this place, and i was thoroughly disappointed cause correct me if im wrong war memorials are about home soldier's being remembered fighting wars at home first and foremost then away from home so please tell me this people of castlebar why is there no memorials of the people who fought on home turf(i served in the north and fought many people who wish i was dead),Why oh why are these people not remembered its a peace park Home first then Foreign

The actual park itself is very peaceful but the place for calling a peace park is wrong since there is no mention of soldiers who fought at home, now that is wrong so wrong
