Not sure it is "cronyism".

Willie Soffe clashed with McCreevy and FF party when pay increases were witheld in 2004.

Brian McEnery was proposed by FG and approved by the government.

Steven Seelig is from the IMF (not sure you can say he is FF/Greens)

Peter Stewart was appointed by Labour.

MR Daly, the chair would appear to have links to FF, as was appointed head of Revenue by FF led government.

Please get your facts right.

On their salary - I would suggest international pay rates have more to do with the increase salaries (plus extra workload).
