That is just amazing, I dont think you are giving the kids any credit at all. Somehow generations of kids have survived quite well without a skatepark and without the need to build a jail for them.

Also if you are so short sighted to think the only employment given in this town is pubs and bookies then you'd wan to take a walk up to the industrial estate to see how it is barely hanging on!

This is a not very well thought out plan that needs addressing, this money could be better used elsewhere in the short term until things improve. More employment means more taxes which also means more money for the council to provide these amenities. Whay cant people see that?
