Its not necessairly a contradiction to suggest that while a person may have a perfect right to adopt a particular view of the world that nonetheless were they to do so it would make them a bit of an eejit. Or at least not for those of us the "ban everything" mentality that one frequently encounters among say practitioners of roman catholicism.
