Perhaps you should read your history -

150,000 people from Ireland fought in the WW1, 1,600 took part in the Easter rising. I'd rather show support for those who fought in WW1, instead of a bunch of people, who, had not got the backing of the general public or even majority of those within their own "party". Only for the UK made "martyrs" out of them, we would only have Yeats poem to remember them by.
