Lisbon is just a symptom of the disease. The disease is the EU. A so called community dominated by the two most untrustworthy nations in Europe – Germany and France. Both have tried more than once by force to dominate their neighbours and failed. Now they are beginning to succeed by sheer force of economics. Yes we are very badly led and the opposition is probably worse, although much less corrupt, but the final nails were driven home very forcefully and deliberately by Merkel and co. Did we desert you when the Berlin Wall fell Angela? Did we drive your country to the brink of oblivion?
