Parties seem to agree savings will be around 4 million so will be surprised if it doesn't save something.

As for salaries being too high. I struggle with this. Lets not forget Taoiseach salary is down from around 285k in 2008 I think to 200k. The demands of these lead roles are extremely high, nationally and internationally important, both now and in the future, and I think they should be paid a salary that reflects this.
