...the upper house ....is called ....seannad eireann.....and the president is called.....uachtarain na h eireannn.....
...a mamber of the dail....is called teachta dala....which issimilar to an m. p .
the irish government is called dail eireann....
...or assembly of ireland.....the lower house....
under our constitution....1937....the president is head of state...with no power...as power is vested in the government of the day....the current president is mary mcaleese....and she resides in phoenix park....in aras an t uachtarain....
