Okay let's see without any references or links and not having watched the news or late late or whatever last night I'll take a guess - this 'whole coffin business' as opposed to being buried in a shroud without a coffin at all? Float on down the Castlebar River or out on Lough Lannagh in a funeral pyre kinda thing?
Or are we talking about eco-coffins that are more environmentally friendly - plant you vertically (to save space) beneath a tree style so that you fertilise the new roots when the cardboard decays away within a few weeks?
My favourite is the crew that stole the bones from their clients before burying them - lots of uses for dead bones it seems. That business was a bit iffy alright.
Or is it just that coffins are overpriced in the current market? People are dying to get into them to quote Frank O'Connor.
