What sort of brains attracting Tesco, Aldl, NEXT etc and made Castlebar still one of the primary shopping towns in Mayo - I would say very successful ones.

But lets turn this around - why should the council support the incumbent retailers, among them are tax evaders who has just had to settle with Revenue for nearly 1.5m, and following your logic one bad egg means that all retailers in Castlebar are tax avoiders.

Main Street has been on the devlopment plan for Castlebar Urban for a long time, I don't know what the delay was in the past (but was always reported to be some opposition from retailers there).

I am fully awake - And I am annoyed that retailers in Castlebar have been cheating the tax system. "Bycott the lot of them!"
