I have to say that the 'ribbon cutting' was placed too near the busy junction, outside Parsons where cars drove up Shamble St and were directed down Castle Street.I witnessed a no of near misses because of the large crowd assemmbled there and also, who had the great idea of erecting a large stall outside Paul Carthy's shop. There was barely room to pass on the street and a no of parents with buggys were not too impressed. Finally, a lad from the Order of Malta was up and down the street regularly on a bike and he had difficulties passing that way.Next time, a bit of thought, please.
