But the current deficit in Ireland is hugely to do with greedy bankers and their association with auctioneer politicians and developer politicians with their greedy fingers in the pot.

Can you imagine that we allowed auctioneers and sellers of land to determine county development plans? They had the nerve to sit on the committees that determined the price of land - deciding where you could build new houses!!!

And of course the bankers did not even require collateral when their stupid under-water building schemes were given the go-ahead.

If An Bord Pleanala or an Taisce or some newspaper economist anyone else objected to the madness they were told to commit suicide - most infamously by the actual leader of the country.

Current deficit in Ireland arises from bad banking and lending practices - plus corruption of course.
