Ah - so you are the guy at the lights who counts 10 cars one way and 10 cars the other way regardless of whether it is morning or afternoon before changing the stop-go sign?

You are the person who thinks that there is a 'standard' system for roundabouts? But who has never actually driven more than about 5k in a year and has at most driven through about 10 towns with roundabouts on the way to the big smoke?

What about the 'hopelessly inefficent use of road space' that occurs every evening in Castlebar - right about now before the pubs close? Not a car to be seen. All that empty tarmac! What a waste! Not a car to be seen.

What we want is the ould two-into-one lane road rage - i.e. where they try to merge their atoms into one? Two cars can merge into one and become a bicycle - yup! - right there:
driving from the Westport Road Junction
exiting the Cathal Duffy's circular and
heading towards Moneen FROM THE EMPTY LEFT LANE THAT IS MARKED LEFT ONLY

CRRRAAASSSHH

That damned stupid car who believes that straight on or right turn is what everyone does - hey he/she just went straight on ('cos that what the sign says to do - and that's what under the rools of the road you gotta do or suffer points/fines/loss of no claims cos realy - you're an idiot).
