Lights at the top of Pavillion Road and Ellison Street

Posted by Cllr. Harry Barrett on October 27, 2011 at 19:27:34:

In relation to the lights at the top of Pavillion Road crossing over to the Curragh, the poster was correct in relation to the long wait.

The timer on the Curragh side is broke. The Area Engineer, Mrs. Anne Sweeney and I visited the site today, we timed the lights and saw the problem.

Mrs. Sweeney has assured me that issue will be sorted very soon.

In relation to Ellison Street. The road arrow, as requested, pointing left onto Duke Street went down on Monday and new signage will be on the way very shortly.

I believe that Cllr. Heneghan is still waiting for his calls to be answered. He could be waiting quite a while. Cllr. Heneghan can call me any day, after 3pm, and I'll happily assist with his representations. It might stop him having to wait!
