The recruitment is down to Fintan Murphy, and they are by and large employees of Mayo County Council or the heath Board (ie Public Servants)
What I fail to understand is why they get paid for this 'job' in addition to the normal salary for the day(s) involved in the Vote or counts ?
If they are already been piad by the state for their 9 - 5 duties, why are they not just paid for the additional time involved ????
