Christmas Dinner?

Posted by Santa on December 19, 2011 at 23:47:16:

Polish dumplings? Goose? Or just plain old turkey and ham?

Spiced beef is probably the Irish national christmas dish seeing as turkeys are a new world bird and could not have been on the menu before Sir Walter Raleigh at least.

But then the Japanese 'national dish' is, according to Wikipedia - curry - but as introduced by the British - and really taking hold in the 1960s with the advent of supermarkets!
