As some dogs will also sense (and become excited by) fear in people, it's important children are brought up to respect but not to fear dogs, and to be confident around them.
I was on the walk on Sunday and there were a heck of a lot of dogs, but none were running wild. I like most owners always have my dog on a leash.(I occasionally let her off, but only if there's no other dogs/people about).
The walk is superb, but the council ought to install some poop bins soon.
